Choosing a Web Hosting

Choosing a web host is an important step in creating a website. The work of your web resource depends on this option.

All hosting providers are divided into two large groups:
-Free hosting.
-Sharing.

First, let me tell you that many free web hosting providers are not completely free so they can find their ads on your site in exchange for their services.

If your site is a home page with your personal information or a small web resource where you share information about a specific topic, you will have enough free web hosting. If your website is an information portal, service or company of your company, you must use shared hosting services.

The difference between shared and free web hosting:

As mentioned above, often free web hosts advertise their ads as banners or pop-ups. Visitors to your site will be dissatisfied if it is known that ads, especially pop-ups, cause annoyance. Therefore, if your goal is to visit your website regularly, one day, one week, come back a month later, and if you only attract a viewer who wants not to close his source within 5 seconds of reaching the first page, choose a hosting without advertising.

Moreover, with free web hosts, you can just wait for your domain, like your domain_inir.com. This domain will not positively affect the reputation of your website; especially if the company's website is damaging its image.

- Why do not you upload photos? - SERVICE SUPPORT will answer such questions. The presence of good is absolutely necessary, because good service support really accelerates the process of solving problems. 90% of the total web hosting providers have adequate service support and only 10% of free web hosting.

Each free hosting can not be supported by the CGI-BIN or Perl directory, PHP, MYSQL, Cron, SSH, Telnet and many more. And even if your web resource now does not require any of them, such a need may appear in the near future with the growth of your website. Over time, you need more disk space. Free web hosting servers usually provide 1-100 MB, while shared hosting websites provide 1-5000 MB for your site.

So, the essence of the matter is as follows:

If you only have one homepage or a small website about your interests, no doubt create a free web host. But before choosing a particular hosting you need:

In order to determine the amount of disk space, you need to consider the growth of your source;
Decide whether you need script support, whether you need a file manager, or you need a site builder using ftp-access
Think about the domain name. It should be short and easy to memorize.

Define your attitude according to the owner's ads:
When this is complete, remove all hosts that do not meet your needs. I recommend that you check the speed of downloading websites that are available from your hosting providers according to your needs. Then you choose the server with the least crowded channels.

Shared Hosting:
Some may say that hosting is expensive, but it's just a myth. Depending on the services and resources provided. Naturally, the hosting does not have flaws in the free mode.

However, shared web hosting providers vary according to the volume and quality of services. Some criteria to help you choose a shared web host:

The landlord should not impose difficult traffic restrictions. At least, if you miss the limit, you should be able to make a payment, but the payment should not be too high.

If you need ASP, FrontPage Server, MSSQL, and then you are looking for a web host on the NT server, and the host must provide these services. Otherwise, it's best to choose UNIX hosting.

You should provide a host mail different from disk space. Make sure it covers incoming and outgoing mail services. Sometimes the host computer provides you with emails, not e-mail addresses. In this case, all your mail will be forwarded to the email you specified, which will block your company.

The hosting provider must be able to work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by e-mail and by phone (fax). Ask them some questions - a good hosting provider will answer you within 24 hours. Keep them away from these hosts if they continue to ignore you or there is no support service.

See what rights to manage the server. At a minimum, you must have FTP access to your directory - this will allow you to take the necessary steps when you transfer, edit or delete your files. It is recommended that the server have a web interface that will work with your server and account.

If you are an experienced user, it is desirable to use a telnet access host - you can work with the provider's computer almost at the same level as your own computer.

Maintaining your site (back up) is also a great advantage.

Finally, before you send a payment, find out about other users' online reviews about this host.
Of course, this is not a complete list of all the criteria based on the need to choose a web hosting provider. However, if the host meets all of the above requirements, you can start working with them.

I personally recommend that Digital Media Trend is  Pakistan's Number#1 Web Hosting Services in Lahore, providing Cheap Shared, managed WordPress hosting, VPS & Dedicated Servers.
